Piece of Cake Decorating is a blog and web store designed to help the novice cake decorator.  When visiting our site you will find "how to" cake guides, video tutorials, recipes and online support.  Most services are free of charge but the cake guides can be purchased for a small $5 fee.  

For your convenience, you can purchase most of the necessary decorating tools directly through our site.  If you do not see a direct link for an item you are interested in, please check our online shop by clicking the Amazon Shop link under our 'Shop' drop down menu.  There you will have the ability to search for anything you may need.

Our "how to" cake guides are designed to help you every step of the way but please keep in mind that some experience is required.  When possible we try to provide video tutorial and recipes to further enhance your experience.  If you get stuck, we are available to help.  You can also contact me via e-mail (see below).

If you are not completely satisfied with the outcome of your cake and feel it is due to the instructions found in the cake guide, please contact us via e-mail for a full refund.  However, please keep in mind that refunds do not apply to mistakes made by human error.  Some of these mistakes include, but are not limited to, lack of experience, using inappropriate recipes, using ingredients or supplies other than those mentioned in the cake guide, etc.

 In order to receive a refund please e-mail us the following information...

• A picture of the completed cake
• Your name and e-mail
• The reason you would like a refund
• Date of purchase

Please remember that refunds will only be made when you are not satisfied with your completed cake due to our "how to" cake guide.

We will make every effort to ensure your items arrive to you unharmed but we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. You will be asked to e-mail a picture of the damage to kseals@pieceofcakedecorating.com. We may be able to guide you through a repair. If we feel the item was damaged through fault of our own, you will have the option to receive a replacement or a refund. Please note that we will not refund shipping costs.
